On Friday, January 22, 2010, the Bear Grill, under the direction of its owner Chris and Dick Moccia Campaign 2009 sponsored a benefit concert featuring the electrifying live performance of Eric Williams’ reggae band, Irie Feelinz. This live concert and social networking event was sponsored to benefit the United Haitian American Society’s (UHAS) Haiti Relief Fund. All proceeds raised will go to benefit the victims and survivors of Haiti’s earthquake that ravaged the island nation on January 12, 2010. Bass guitar performance by child sensation Shakim Williams 6years old rocked the house. An auction was held and Eduard Joseph was the highest bidder at $110.00, winning a bottle of vintage cognac. Marc Andre was the matching highest bidder donating $110.00 to the Haiti Relief Fund. The band played soothing reggae and upbeat tempos as the crowd enjoyed and danced the night away for a good cause.
